Electrician Work

Yeager light Lab
Pitt decided to upgrade their light lab, and purchased a Yeager Lab form production advantage. I worked with a classmate, and together we were responsible for constructing and specifying everything we would need. Now the room is finished and being used to teach the second level of stage lighting, for which I am the TA.
A New Brain "Fluorescent" Lights
4 home made “Fluorescent” LED RGBW color mixing lights that flew in and out throughout the show. This was a fun build, pictured is TD for this show Eben Alguire Making a repair to the rigging hardware while we test the lights.

The Recoil Cube
Recoil was a divised piece about gun violence produced by Pitt in Spring 2018. I was the Master Electrician on this show, My main build was the lighting inside the Scenic cube, it featured 2 redundant systems:
System 1 was a battery powered wireless DMX dimmer with 4 LED Par16’s hooked up to it to light actors in the cube
System 2 was a Battery powered wireless DMX controller with 120 feet of LED tape to allow the cube to be color mixed.
I’m proud of this build because it was 100% reliable and did not have a before or midshow failure.

Cue Light
Pitt was in desperate need of a cue light, so I built this for them. It uses the buildings old intercom system.
Practical Power Distro
For Peter and the Star Catcher we needed a lot of twinkling stars but had few dimmers to do so. I built two of these power distribution boxes to provide power to 32 stars from 8 dimmers.
